Found in Wisdom, Montana
Wisdom is a teeny bitty town out of the way in Montana. I found this graveyard about 5 miles from town. It was overgrown and obviously didn't have a caretaker.
I found these fabulous tombstones that combine WOW carvings and Freemason symbolism. Facinating! I don't recall Wisdom ever being a large town at any point in Montana history but apparently there was some action going on at some point!
Just to let you know there were other wonderful stones as well but we were attacked by bees while in the cemetery....they were EVERYWHERE so I only got these 3 stones shot before we had to run out. As soon as we were outside the gates the bees quit coming...hmmmmm....kinda strange eh? |
